I was up in the mountains for a weekend and practically got eaten alive by the mosquitos. I had bites all over my legs, arms, neck and back. I was going crazy trying not to scratch them. Thankfully I had my bag of essential oils with me, so I applied GuruNanda tea tree essential oil to each bite and within minutes, the itching sensation went away. I was amazed by how fast it worked - and without the use of any creams or lotions containing chemicals! Just pure essential oil.
Tea tree essential oil, also known as melalueca oil, has historically been used for bronchial conditions, skin infections and wound healing. Legends speak of it being passed down for thousands of years by the native indigenous Bundjalung Aborigines of Australia. They were said to have used tea tree essential oil for spiritual ceremonies, to help heal skin infections and much more. Today there are many uses for GuruNanda tea tree essential oil. You can find over 300 studies at www.pubmed.gov that show just how powerful an antimicrobial it is.
To use GuruNanda tea tree oil for everyday cuts and bruises, I simply apply around the wound, being careful to not put directly in open skin. For bug bites, I apply directly on bite as often as needed. Tea tree oil is also great for helping skin breakouts. It’s a natural astringent and helps clear up skin pretty quickly.
