When life gives you lemons you use the essential oil in them of course! I love the natural aroma of lemons. There’s just something about the fragrance of lemons that makes everything smell so clean and fresh!

I feel uplifted just by breathing it in! We see “lemon scented” cleansers, air fresheners, soaps and candles all implying that by using them - we are cleaner and fresher, but the truth is that with all of the chemical additives that most companies use, we are nothing close to cleaner and fresher by using them.

To solve this problem, I go for the real zest of GuruNanda® lemon essential oil. No impurities, no synthetics or chemicals, just all 100% pure essential oil.

Historically, ancient Indians, Egyptians and Romans used lemons as a remedy for infectious diseases. Lemons have a natural high content of Vitamin C and were often used by sailors to prevent scurvy. Today lemon oil is used for cleaning, detoxing and for its aromatherapy properties. Lemon essential oil can help with stress, anxious feelings, mental and physical fatigue, focus and concentration and much more. Just recently, there was a Japanese study showing that by diffusing lemon oil in the office, office errors were reduced by 54%. What? Can you imagine if we had lemon oil diffused in our schools? How cool would that be?

I diffuse it in my office to help keep me focused. Just a few drops and I can feel my mind and body relax. The uses for lemon essential oil are countless. It has natural antibacterial properties, so I use it in a homemade spray to help disinfect my countertops.

A Few Quick DIY Solutions…
