Topical: Dilute with GuruNanda Fractionated Coconut Oil at a 2% dilution rate to avoid skin irritation. Apply a few drops of the diluted essential oil to wrists, temples, back of the neck or bottom of feet to enjoy the benefits.
Diffusion: Add between 2-8 drops into a diffuser to enjoy the aroma.
Lavender Bath Salts: Add 25 drops of Lavender Essential Oil, 1 ½ cup of Epsom salt, and ½ cup of baking soda to a large glass jar with a lid. At bath time, add ½ cup of your new mixture into the bath water. Soak for 20 to 40 minutes for a deeply relaxing bath.
Soothing Shampoo: Mix 2-3 drops of Cedarwood and Tea Tree Essential Oils with 1 tablespoon of your favorite shampoo. Massage into your hair, and enjoy the effects.
Cold & Flu Symptom Relief: Add 2 drops of Eucalyptus, Lavender, and Peppermint Essential Oils to a cool, damp cloth, and sponge your entire body for feelings of relief.
Relaxing Muscle Body Scrub: Mix 8-10 drops of Lemongrass Essential Oil with ½ cup of Epsom salt and ¼ cup of Fractionated Coconut Oil. Scrub your body with the mixture while you shower to help soothe aches and pains. You can also soak in the bathtub with this same mixture.
Dry Scalp Relief: Massage 2-5 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil onto the scalp before bed then rinse with a mild shampoo in the morning. If the dryness is excessive, try 2 drops of Rosemary, Tea Tree, and Peppermint Essential Oil along with some carrier oil. Massage the mixture onto the scalp, let it sit overnight, and rinse it with a mild shampoo in the morning.
